Your privacy, in plain language.

Information you give us

When you apply, register for a session, or contact us, you may share your name, email, phone number, city, education and work background, and — for scholarships — information about your financial need. You choose what to share; some fields are required to process an application.

When you reserve a Sunday Series seat, your name and WhatsApp number are required. An email address is optional. If you add one, we store it with your reservation and use it for one thing: once your seat is paid, it lets you unlock the student-only roles on our jobs page (we email the access link to that address). We do not add it to any mailing list, and it is not used to sign you up for the open-roles email, which is a separate signup with its own confirmation.

Anyone can browse the open-roles board on our jobs page. To apply to a role or contact a recruiter, you sign in with your email address (and, if you wish, your name): we email you a one-time sign-in link, so there is no password. For a job-board account we keep your email, your optional name, when you signed in, and which roles you opened apply or recruiter links for (with the time and your IP address). We use this to send your sign-in link, to run the board and to limit misuse. We send you roles by email only if you tick the box asking for them. You can sign out on the board at any time, and you can ask hello@learnpact.com to delete your job-board account and any open-roles email subscription.

Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, we record basic technical data such as your device type, browser, and the pages you view, to keep the site working and improve it.

We may also estimate your approximate city from your IP address to personalize what you see — for example, showing the nearest metro in our homepage headline. This lookup runs on our own servers against a locally-hosted database; your IP is not sold or shared with any third-party location service for this purpose.

Payments

Payments (such as a ₹99 Sunday Series seat fee or program fees) are processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card, UPI, or bank details — those are handled directly and securely by the gateway under its own privacy terms.

How we use your information

• To process applications, scholarships, registrations and payments
• To run sessions and send you admissions and program communications
• To respond to your questions and provide learner support
• To recognise a paid Sunday Series seat holder who asks for access to the student-only roles on our jobs page, if they gave an email when booking
• To sign you in to the open-roles board with an emailed link, and to release a role's apply or recruiter link to you once you have signed in
• To send open-roles emails if you sign up for them on our jobs page, or tick the box for them when you sign in (you can unsubscribe with one click in any email)
• To improve our site and content (including city personalization)
• To meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations as a company

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — our payment gateway, email/SMTP provider, and hosting — and only as needed to deliver the service.

We share your details with a potential hiring partner only with your explicit consent, and we may disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and minimal analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; declining non-essential cookies will not break core functionality.

When you sign in to the open-roles board, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for 30 days. Signing out removes it.

To save you re-typing, the name, phone number and email you enter in one of our forms are remembered in your browser's local storage on that device only, and used to pre-fill our other forms. They are not sent anywhere until you submit a form. Use the "Not you?" link beside any pre-filled form, or clear your browser's site data, to remove them.

Data retention & security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you communications. Email us using the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Our programs are intended for adult learners and older students. We do not knowingly collect information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify applicants and learners.
