AI-led Learning Experience & Student Success Lead

AI-led Learning Experience & Student Success Lead

  • Full Time
  • Kolkata

Learnpact Foundation

We’re building an edtech non-profit organization that scales through intelligence, not headcount.

You’re not a traditional “trainer” or “academic coordinator.” You’re designing learning experiences that create such exceptional outcomes that students become our marketing department.

Your north star: Every student should say “This changed my life” and mean it.

What You’ll Actually Do

Phase 1: Audit & Redesign

  • Experience our programs as a student would—identify every friction point
  • Benchmark against world-class online education (not Indian coaching centers)
  • Redesign curriculum to integrate AI tools as learning accelerators
  • Build outcome metrics beyond certificates (portfolio quality, job readiness, confidence)

Phase 2: Learning Systems

  • Create adaptive learning paths (AI-powered) that personalize to student pace
  • Build AI teaching assistants that provide 24/7 support
  • Design project-based learning where students build real portfolio pieces
  • Implement peer learning systems (students teaching students scales better than instructor:student)
  • Create micro-assessments that identify struggling students before they give up

Phase 3: Success Infrastructure

  • Build job readiness bootcamp (resume, LinkedIn, portfolio, interview prep)
  • Create alumni mentor matching (automated system connecting students with relevant graduates)
  • Design student success dashboard showing real-time progress
  • Implement automated check-ins and intervention systems
  • Build community learning pods (cohort bonding increases completion rates)

What “Exceptional Work” Looks Like

Bad Learning Lead: Delivers content as planned, measures success by completion rates, blames students who struggle.

Good Learning Lead: Creates engaging curriculum, supports students, achieves decent outcomes.

Exceptional Learning Lead:

  • Redesigned a program that went from 40% completion to 85% completion by identifying and eliminating friction points
  • Integrated AI tools into curriculum so effectively that students’ portfolio quality increased 3x compared to previous cohorts
  • Built peer learning systems where top students mentor others, increasing both groups’ outcomes (teaching reinforces learning)
  • Created automated early warning system that identified struggling students and intervened before dropout, improving completion by 25%
  • Designed project-based curriculum where 90%+ of students had portfolio pieces good enough to show employers immediately
  • Made learning so transformational that 60%+ of students refer friends without being asked

You Should Apply If

  • You’ve designed learning experiences (courses, programs, workshops) with measurable outcomes
  • You understand adult learning psychology and andragogy
  • You’ve used or can quickly learn AI tools for education (AI tutors, adaptive learning, etc.)
  • You genuinely care about student success and take it personally when someone struggles
  • You can balance structure with flexibility (systems that work for most, customization for some)
  • You’re comfortable with data and can identify patterns in student performance
  • You think in student outcomes (jobs, skills, confidence) not just curriculum delivery

Do NOT Apply If

  • You think your job is just to deliver lectures and move on
  • You’re not willing to integrate technology and AI into learning
  • You get defensive when curriculum is criticized instead of seeing it as improvement opportunity
  • You believe struggling students are “just not trying hard enough”
  • You can’t handle the ambiguity of building new systems from scratch
  • You think “completion rates” are the only metric that matters

Compensation Philosophy

Structure: Base salary + Performance bonuses based on:

  • Student completion rates
  • Student job placement and career outcomes
  • Student satisfaction and NPS scores
  • Peer referrals from happy students
  • Equity options for exceptional performance

Interview Process

  1. Application: Submit a Loom video explaining one learning experience you designed and the outcomes it achieved. Include specific data.
  2. Assignment: Review one of our existing programs and create a redesign proposal incorporating AI tools and outcome-focused improvements.
  3. Live Session: Teach us something in 20 minutes (your choice of topic). We’ll evaluate teaching style, clarity, and engagement.
  4. Trial Project: Redesign one module of our curriculum and deliver it to a small test group. We’ll measure outcomes together.

Working at Learnpact: What to Expect

Culture Principles

First Principles Thinking: We question everything. “We’ve always done it this way” is not a valid reason.

Leverage Over Labor: We value systems that scale over heroic individual effort. Work smarter, not just harder.

AI as Superpower: We embrace AI tools aggressively. If AI can do it better, we use AI. Your job is to use AI to multiply your impact.

Outcomes Over Activity: We don’t care about “busy work.” We care about results that move the business forward.

Transparency: We share numbers openly (revenue, costs, metrics). You’ll know if we’re winning or struggling.

Autonomy with Accountability: We won’t micromanage you, but you own your results. Freedom comes with responsibility.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with performance upside
  • Equity options (share in what you help build)
  • Remote flexibility (results matter, not location)
  • Learning budget (tools, courses, conferences)
  • AI tools access (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Midjourney, etc.)
  • Direct access to founder (no bureaucracy)
  • Chance to build something meaningful in education

What We Don’t Offer

  • Corporate hierarchy and politics
  • Job security without performance
  • 9-5 mentality (some weeks are light, some are intense)
  • Hand-holding and extensive training
  • Tolerance for mediocrity or excuses

Location

Based in Kolkata, but we’re flexible on remote work for exceptional candidates who can deliver results independently.

How to Apply

Don’t send a traditional resume. We’ve read hundreds. They all look the same.

Instead, send us:

  1. Loom Video (3-5 minutes): Tell us which role you’re applying for and why you’re exceptional at it. Share a specific example of work you’re proud of with metrics.
  2. Work Sample: Show us something you’ve created that demonstrates your skills. Not a portfolio of 20 things—one exceptional thing with context.
  3. Your Question for Us: What do you want to know about Learnpact before deciding if this is right for you?
